On November 1, The Supreme Court of the United States of America will be hearing oral arguments on the recent Texas law banning most abortions after 6 weeks. This extremely controversial law grants the right to any ordinary citizen to sue clinics and individuals who violate this law. Those who turn in violators can be paid $10,000 or more.
The legality of this law will be discussed with Mary Ziegler, Stearns Weaver Miller Professor at Florida State University College of Law. She specializes in the legal history of reproduction, the family, sexuality, and the Constitution.
