Discussing his artistic approach to advocacy initiatives and how he utilizes his work in entertainment and media as a platform. Opening a conversation about the plight of victimized groups, especially LGBTQ people and refugees, he will discuss how everyone has the power to take action.
As a single individual, Yuval David has helped dozens of members of the LGBTQ community flee oppressive countries. In his presentation, he will shed light on how he was able to correspond directly with people in need and act as a mediator to ensure their cases gained the necessary attention collaborating with organizations from various communities, such as Jewish and LGBTQ organizations, who he often works with closely.
Yuval will include a discussion of his soon-to-be released documentary film, Wonderfully Made – LGBTQ+R(eligion).
